Important Notice Before Applying for K-ETA

1. Eligibility and Timing for K‑ETA Application

Nationals from visa-free countries must obtain K‑ETA approval before boarding a flight or ship to Korea. Submitting an application after boarding or upon arrival in Korea may result in denial of approval or entry restrictions.

2. Processing Time

In most cases, the review is completed within 1 hour of submission. However, due to high application volume or other circumstances, it may take up to 72 hours or more, so it is highly recommended to apply well in advance. Expedited (priority) processing is not available.

3. Application Fee and Refund Policy

The K‑ETA application fee is non-refundable. Even if your application is denied, the fee will not be refunded, so please make sure to review all information and eligibility criteria carefully before applying.

4. Accuracy of Application Information

Providing false or inaccurate information may lead to denial or cancellation of K‑ETA approval. This may also affect accompanying travelers included in the same application.

2. 처리 시간

• 일반적으로 신청 후 1시간 이내에 심사가 완료되는 경우가 많습니다..
• 다만 신청 급증 혹은 기타 사정으로 인해 최대 72시간 이상 걸릴 수 있으므로 충분한 여유를 가지고 신청해야 합니다. .
• 우선 처리(expedited) 서비스는 제공되지 않습니다. .

3. 수수료 및 환불 불가

• K‑ETA 신청 수수료는 환불되지 않습니다.
• 승인 거부되더라도 수수료는 환불되지 않으므로 신청 전 정보 및 조건을 충분히 확인하세요.

4. 신청 정보 정확성

• 허위 또는 부정확한 정보를 기재할 경우 승인 거부되거나 승인 취소될 수 있습니다.
• 해당 신청자 뿐만 아니라 함께 신청된 동반자의 경우에도 동일하게 제재가 적용될 수 있습니다.
