Foreign nationals holding an E-9 (non-professional employment) visa may change their workplace only when certain legal conditions and procedures are met.


2. Legality of E-9 Visa Workplace Change

According to the Employment of Foreign Workers Act and the Employment Permit System (EPS) guidelines, workplace changes are only permitted in specific, predefined situations. Unauthorized departure from the workplace or voluntary change without legal grounds is generally not allowed and is considered a violation.
